Amidst the Great Recession, Ring Power seeks innovative ways to sustain business and preserve technician jobs. Building on the success of the Genie product line, Ring Power signs a distributorship agreement with Terex Utilities under the Cat Rental Store Division. Ring Power begins manufacturing Terex LT40s, TL40s, and TL50s at its St. Augustine facility.
Strategic Vision from Ring Power Chairman and President, Randy Ringhaver
Ring Power is awarded the contract to supply the STEC Project in Texas, establishing itself as a significant player in the Electrical Utility industry despite economic challenges.
Mike Beauregard is appointed General Manager of Ring Power Utility Equipment, demonstrating exceptional leadership and driving continued growth.
Due to increased demand for Utility Equipment, production is permanently moved from St. Augustine to the Philips Hwy location in Jacksonville, FL.
Ring Power incorporates the Palfinger line under its Heavy Equipment division.
Following an equipment failure, Florida Power & Light challenges Ring Power Utility Equipment to develop a transmission bucket truck with a 1,000 lbs load capacity. In collaboration with Terex, Ring Power Utility Equipment creates the first bucket with a 1,100 lbs capacity and a Load Monitoring and Crash Mitigation system, enhancing safety. RPUE also develops the industry's first galvanized boom and is awarded its first contract with FPL for a Transmission project.
Ring Power Utility Equipment receives the FPL Award for the Load Monitoring System and Crash Mitigation System and secures an additional contract.
Ring Power Utility Equipment becomes a standalone division and supports Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Through contracts with local contractors, RPUE becomes the largest supplier of equipment on the island.
Expanding beyond Florida, Ring Power Utility Equipment opens a location in North Carolina and begins build-out for a location in Temple, TX.
The Temple, TX location opens. Declared an essential business, Ring Power Utility Equipment continues to serve its customer base through the COVID-19 Pandemic and develops the Z-45 Insulated Man Lift.
Ring Power launches a line of Vocational Trucks, including Palfinger, VAC-CON, and non-CDL Work Trucks, to organize and strengthen its trucking portfolio. The company opens a facility in South Carolina.
The Truck and Crane businesses internally merge with Ring Power Utility Equipment, maintaining legacy brand emblems. The South Carolina location is strategically relocated from Ladsden to Aiken.
Ring Power completes the unification of its business units to form Ring Power Utility | Truck | Crane, resulting in the largest revenue grossing year since inception and creating a logical product offering for its customer base.
